Today is the second day of the BRICS leaders’ meeting in Kazan, Russia. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi will also hold bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping today. The two leaders will hold this formal meeting in about five years. After the conflict in the Galwan Valley in 2020, the differences between the two countries deepened. The last official meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Xi Jinping was held in October 2019 in the historic city of Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu.
