75 BJP MLAs, Including Outgoing Ganpat Gaikwad, Secured Votes Again

75 sitting BJP MLAs, including outgoing Ganpat Gaikwad, have been given votes again.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday announced the first list of 99 candidates for the Maharashtra assembly elections. In the first list, 75 current members received their tickets again, and 3 current members had their tickets cancelled. Shankar Jagtap has got his ticket from Pimpri Chinchwad, while MLA Ashwini Jagtap’s ticket has also been canceled from there. Sulabh Gaikwad, wife of BJP MP Ganpat Gaikwad, has received a ticket from Kalyan and is currently serving jail time.

Similarly, the seat ticket of MLA Tekchand Savarkar from Kamati has also been cancelled. Bharatiya Janata Party chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule got the ticket from there.

Ganwat Gaikwad shoots Sindhi leader

Kayan parliamentary constituency is one of the parliamentary constituencies discussed in the past few days. Kalyan East BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad went to the police station and shot dead Mahesh Gaikwad, the city in-charge of the Shiv Sena Shinde faction. During this time, Mahesh Gaikwad’s partner Rahul Patil was also shot dead. Mahesh Gaikwad and Rahul Patil survived the dismissal, which sparked a nationwide discussion.

Ganpat Gaikwad’s wife Sulabha got the ticket

Anyway, the BJP gave Gaikwad a sigh of relief. Because the BJP has announced the candidature of Ganpat Gaikwad’s wife Sulabha Gaikwad.

Judging from the current political situation, there is a possibility of a contest between Mahayutty and Maha Vikas Aghadi. There are speculations as to how many seats each constitutional party will get from Mahayuthi and Maha Vikas Aghadi. The Bharatiya Janata Party has released its first list of candidates.
