Chief Minister Omar Abdullah pays tribute to police martyrs at Zewan Memorial on Remembrance Day

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today paid tribute to the Police Martyrs at a solemn ceremony held at the Police Martyrs Memorial in Zewan on the occasion of Police Remembrance Day.

Accompanied by Council of Ministers Javed Ahmed Rana and Javed Ahmed Dar and Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, the Chief Minister led the gathering to pay tribute to the brave policemen. Tribute to sacrifice.

Among the recently elected members of the Legislative Assembly, Farooq Ahmed Shah, Sheikh Ahsan, Mushtaq Guru and Rafiq Ahmed Naik also attended the memorial ceremony , and laid a wreath at the monument to honor the courage and dedication of the martyrs.

Apart from the chief minister, several senior officials also came to express their condolences, including chief secretary Atal Dulloo, inspector general of police J&K Nalin Prabhat, chief secretary Jal Shaikh Jal Shakti Shakeen Kabra and Chief Secretary Home.

After the tribute ceremony, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited a blood donation camp set up as part of the event. He expressed his gratitude to those who donated blood voluntarily and praised their selfless spirit in contributing to the welfare of society.
