Drugs worth Rs 1,800 crore seized from factory near Bhopal, two arrested

Drugs worth around Rs 1,800 crore were seized in a joint operation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). A huge haul of drugs was recovered during a raid at a factory near Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.

The raid resulted in the seizure of the drug MD (Mephedrone) being manufactured at the factory. Authorities arrested two suspects in connection with the illegal production of drugs.

Nearly a week ago, Delhi Police seized more than 500 kilograms of cocaine worth over Rs 2,000 crore during a raid in south Delhi. The raid is said to be the largest drug bust ever conducted in the nation’s capital. Four people were arrested in connection with the drug bust.
