A tragic incident occurred in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district, where a family of four was found dead in their home on Wednesday morning. The police believe this may be a case of suicide, as they discovered an alleged suicide note at the scene.
The deceased family members have been identified as Vijay Madhukar Pachori, aged 68, a retired teacher, his 55-year-old wife Mala, and their two sons, Ganesh (38) and Deepak (36). The police were alerted by neighbors who noticed that the family’s house in the village of Moward was unusually quiet. Concerned for their well-being, the neighbors contacted the authorities.
Upon arriving at the scene, police officers forced entry into the home. Inside, they found all four family members hanging from hooks in the ceiling. The situation was shocking and raised immediate concerns about the family’s mental health.
The suicide note found in the house suggested that the family was experiencing significant stress. This stress reportedly stemmed from Ganesh’s recent arrest in a scam case that was registered earlier this year at the Panduna police station in Madhya Pradesh. The note was signed by all four family members, indicating a shared feeling of despair.
Police officials stated that they have registered a case of accidental death and are continuing their investigation into this heartbreaking situation.
This incident highlights the serious mental health issues that can arise from legal troubles and societal pressures. It serves as a reminder of the importance of support systems for families facing difficult circumstances.
