India, Canada diplomatic spat: Canadian law enforcement officer Sandeep Singh Sidhu listed as ‘fugitive terrorist’

India has added Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) officer Sandeep Singh Sidhu to its list of fugitive terrorists amid the ongoing diplomatic standoff between the two countries. India has sought to expel Sidhu from Canada.

CBSA employee Sandeep Singh Sidhu, an agent of banned organization International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF), is accused of promoting terror activities in Punjab and being associated with pro-Khalistan terror network connect. He is also said to have links with Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
