A 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted multiple times by three tutors, police said. While two defendants have been arrested, one is currently at large.
According to police, the accused Gautam, Tarun Rajpurohit and Satya Raj not only sexually assaulted her but also showed her explicit pictures and videos.
Gautam and Tarun Rajpurohit were arrested on September 28 and will be detained till Monday. Operations to arrest Satya Raj are underway.
“They did this repeatedly. Her mother was initially reluctant to lodge a complaint but the counselor had to convince her. We have recorded the girl’s statement. The accused took her into the bedroom and showed her inappropriate and explicit images and videos,” one a police officer said.
According to police, the accused committed the act on multiple occasions, taking advantage of the girl’s vulnerable situation due to her parents’ divorce and the absence of a male presence in the home.
The accused was charged under Sections 354 (assault with intent to outrage modesty/criminal violence), 376(2) (rape), 377 (unnatural sexual intercourse) and 12, 4, 8 of the PoKSO Act. accusation.
