Poll strategist Prashant Kishore on Sunday lashed out at leading politicians in Bihar and held them responsible for the state’s economic stagnation.

Recalling how JD(U) chief resigned as railway minister after train accident in West Bengal, Prashant Kishore claimed Nitish was once respected for his strong moral code, but argued , today he sacrifices this integrity for political convenience.

Prashant Kishor accused Nitish Kumar of inconsistency, pointing out that he accepted the chief minister’s role without a strong mandate and criticized his governance for promoting a kind of “The Officer’s Jungle Raggi”retired bureaucrats run the show rather than elected leaders.

Prashant Kishore also lashed out at Lalu Yadav, accusing him of exploiting the Muslim minority and using them as a vote bank.

“Lallu burned them like kerosene in a lantern (a hallmark of the RJD),” Kishore said.

Kishore also slammed the BJP, saying that despite its dominance in the 2019 and 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the party had “ignored” the development of Bihar.

He questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to the country, pointing out that Bihar’s progress lacked any substantive review or oversight.

Furthermore, Kishore feels that the BJP leadership in Bihar remains out of touch with the people, with many top figures unknown to the public.

Kishore described the political landscape in Bihar as one dominated by a few powerful families and a selfish elite. He described Lalu and Nitish as “Dorsey” (guilty) for their role in keeping Bihar underdeveloped while calling the Congress and the BJP “guilty“(The culprit) abandoned the country despite winning the election.
