Prime Minister Narendra Modi today traveled to Gujarat to pay homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity on his birth anniversary. He also participated in the Unity Day in Kevadia, where he recited the Unity Pledge.
In a tweet on Thursday morning, the Prime Minister said Sardar Patel’s top priority is “protecting the unity and sovereignty of the country”.
He added: “His personality and work will continue to inspire every generation in this country.”
