Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Sunday slammed Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for calling him a “terrorist” and said he needed “mental treatment”.

Siddaramaiah told reporters on Sunday that his cabinet had decided to grant leniency to the Hubbali rioters, who belong to a minority group.

“The decision to withdraw the case will be brought before the court. If the court agrees, then the case will be withdrawn. Otherwise, we cannot withdraw the case. We have also withdrawn the case against the BJP leaders. The BJP is protesting on baseless issues. Pralhad Joshi himself is a big terrorist,” Siddaramaiah said.

Reacting to Siddaramaiah’s statement, Pralhad Joshi said: “We understand from here that Siddaramaiah is indeed in pain. One should not give up to this extent. Political power comes Go go. He’s scared of losing power every day.”

“Both of us used to laugh at each other. But not to this irrational low level. He has lost his mental balance. He needs psychological treatment,” he added.
