In a bid to curb the drug menace in Srinagar city, police on Saturday arrested a 27-year-old woman with about 3.65 grams of heroin between Gangbugh and Khumi Chowk, officials said.
Acting on specific information, the Tengpora-Batamaloo police intercepted a 27-year-old woman in the Bund area between Gangbugh and Khumani Chowk, an official said.
During the search, they recovered 3.65 grams of heroin from her possession, he said.
“An investigation has been launched and further action has been taken in accordance with legal procedures,” he said – (KNO)
