A violent clash broke out between two groups of fishermen from different parts of the Tamil Nadu coast, leaving two people injured. The clash was captured on camera, showing the trolley crashing into the fiber boat in the middle of the sea.

The incident occurred on September 28. Fishermen in Serutul claimed they were fishing in 30 fiber boats near Mile 23 when two trolleys collided with their vessel.

Seruse fishermen claim they were anchoring after a night’s work when the trolley got through their nets, entangled a fiber boat and dragged it into deeper waters.

The incident escalated into a brawl when fishermen on two trams (named Ravindran and Amirthalingam) attacked the fishermen on the fiber boat.

“During the attack, two of our fishermen were thrown into the sea. If we had not rescued them in time, they would have died. We then surrounded the tram with boats and forced them to leave,” Satya, a fisherman who witnessed the incident Raj said.
