India criticized Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly. Pakistan’s Prime Minister once again raised the Kashmir issue in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Saturday.
India exercised its right of reply saying that Pakistan covets Indian territory and uses terrorism to disrupt elections in Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral part of India.
“It is well known that Pakistan has long used cross-border terrorism as a weapon against its neighbours,” Indian diplomat Bhavika Mangalanandan said. “It has attacked our Parliament, our financial hub, Mumbai, markets and pilgrimage routes. The list is long and it is the worst kind of hypocrisy for a country like this.”
