Two people died after coming in contact with live electric wires in Chhattisgarh’s Korba district, police said on Tuesday.
The victims were found on the Tapra-Beira village route within the limits of Barko police station on Monday night, an official said.
He said the men were riding their two-wheelers through a narrow street when the vehicle hit an 11KV power line hanging from the ground.
Narayan Kanwar (35) and Tikeshwar Rathiya (32) were returning home to Birla village after fishing, the official said.
He said the body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem and a case has been registered against unidentified persons.
